The All-Ukrainian charitable organisation ‘CONVICTUS UKRAINE’ announces a call for tenders for a Communications Specialist for the project ‘Responding to and Preventing Psychosocial Trauma and Protecting Those Affected among Ukrainians Affected by the War’
‘Convictus Ukraine’ is a non-governmental organisation operating in three countries: Sweden, Estonia and Ukraine. For 19 years, we have been developing effective public health services and supporting vulnerable groups in Ukraine.

If you have:
- a degree in communications, journalism, marketing, PR or related fields;
- at least three years’ experience in the field of communications;
- experience in developing and implementing communications strategies or comprehensive information campaigns;
- experience working on projects supported by international donors would be an advantage;
- excellent copywriting skills in various formats in the Ukrainian language;
- experience organising photo and video shoots and working with contractors;
- experience coordinating several communication processes simultaneously;
- an understanding of the principles of branding, visual communication and international donors’ requirements regarding public relations;
- skills in using online graphic design tools (Canva or similar);
- experience with Meta Business Suite and advertising campaigns would be an advantage;
- a high level of self-organisation, responsibility and attention to detail;
- fluency in Ukrainian (spoken and written);
an understanding of the principles of human rights, non-discrimination and ethical communication.

You will be responsible for:
- developing, implementing and coordinating project communication plans and strategies in line with their objectives and donor requirements;
- ensuring the project’s visibility, building its positive image and raising its profile;
- preparing communication materials in various formats: news items, articles, interviews, success stories, reports, press releases, information materials, and posts for social media and the website;
- organising and coordinating the production of photo, video and multimedia content: preparing technical briefs, organising shoots, overseeing editing and quality control of finished materials;
- organising communications support for conferences, training sessions, educational events, field visits, press events and other public events;
- ensuring that all communication materials comply with international donors’ requirements regarding publicity and branding;
- preparing communication reports and analytics on the implementation of publicity plans;
- developing cooperation with the media, preparing news angles and maintaining partnerships with journalists.
