Convictus Ukraine is a nongovernmental organization that builds public health services and provides comprehensive support to vulnerable populations. Convictus Ukraine is looking for a Communications Manager to join the team and support the organization’s projects.
Your responsibilities and tasks:

  • Communications and public relations management: developing and implementing a communications strategy for projects in accordance with international donor standards, ensuring project visibility, and fostering a positive image.
  • Working with contractors: developing clear technical specifications (TS) for designers, photographers, videographers, printing companies, IT specialists, and the media; coordinating their work; monitoring deadlines; and ensuring high-quality service delivery and reporting.
  • Ensuring that all materials and activities comply with the international donor’s requirements regarding visibility and branding (Donor Visibility Guidelines).
  • Writing high-quality texts in various formats (articles, reports, beneficiary success stories, press releases, social media posts) and preparing visual content using online graphic editors.
  • Set up, launch, optimize, and analyze advertising campaigns in Ads Manager (Facebook, Instagram) for the project.
  • Organize a “turnkey” filming process while adhering to ethical standards during filming.
  • Maintain systematic collaboration with the media.
  • Prepare public, programmatic, and analytical reports on visibility.

We expect the candidate to have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or marketing.
  • At least 3 years of experience in PR and communications.
  • Practical experience in visibility management and managing contractors.
  • Ability to develop technical specifications, monitor deadlines, review reports, and take responsibility for final results and KPIs.
  • Experience working according to the standards of international organizations and the ability to adapt materials to donor requirements.
  • Skills in developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies.
  • Excellent copywriting skills: the ability to create high-quality, accessible, and persuasive texts in various formats (“a light and incisive writing style”).
  • Proficiency with online graphic editors for quickly creating and adapting visuals.
  • Practical skills in setting up, launching, and analyzing targeted ads in Ads Manager (Facebook/Instagram).
  • Experience organizing turnkey filming processes and working with film crews.
  • A network of journalist contacts and experience building effective partnerships with the media.
  • Fluent in Ukrainian (spoken and written).
  • Proficiency in English at the B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level will be a significant advantage.
  • A deep understanding of the specifics of the humanitarian sector, adherence to the principles of non-discrimination, respect for human rights, and ethical standards.
