Mobile Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) Teams

Objective

To increase the accessibility and quality of sexual and reproductive health services for women in communities by bringing medical care closer to remote and vulnerable areas.

Target Groups

  • • women living in remote communities and rural areas;
  • • internally displaced women;
  • • women of different ages with limited access to healthcare services.

Key Activities

Within this project, AUCO Convictus Ukraine ensures the organization and coordination of mobile gynecological teams across 12 regions of Ukraine, facilitating access to quality sexual and reproductive health services for women in remote, rural, and vulnerable communities. The organization is responsible for coordinating cooperation among involved specialists, healthcare institutions, and communities, as well as for monitoring results and continuously improving service quality.

Based on mobile clinics and in accordance with current medical standards, the teams provide counseling, preventive, and screening services in the field of sexual and reproductive health, supporting early detection of diseases and access to preventive examinations. The project is implemented in full compliance with standards on the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), principles of financial transparency and accountability, and a people-centered approach.

Geographical Coverage

Vinnytsia, Volyn, Zhytomyr, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Lviv, Rivne, Ternopil, Kirovohrad, Khmelnytskyi, and Chernivtsi regions.

Partnership and Support

The project is implemented with the support of UNFPA — the United Nations Population Fund in Ukraine — and the Government of Spain, in cooperation with regional healthcare institutions.
