The purpose of this program area is to improve the economic well-being of women and to build an accessible and sustainable support system for vulnerable women in Ukraine, reducing the risks of violence, social isolation, and economic dependency. AUCO Convictus Ukraine recognizes the close link between women’s economic empowerment, their safety, and their ability to exercise their rights — particularly in the context of war and ongoing socio-economic challenges.
Activities within this area focus on creating people-centered support mechanisms grounded in respect for human rights and non-discrimination. We support women in acquiring new knowledge and skills, developing professional and entrepreneurial competencies, strengthening financial resilience, and regaining control over their lives — thereby promoting equal opportunities and reducing the risk of repeated vulnerability.
