MHPSS and Gender-Based Violence Response Services for War-Affected People in the Kyiv Region: Emergency Support and Resilience Building
Objective
To improve the quality of gender-based violence (GBV) prevention and response services and to provide comprehensive mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) to people affected by war and violence, strengthening their psychological resilience in crisis and emergency situations.
Key Activities
Within this sub-program, AUCO Convictus Ukraine implements a comprehensive model of psychosocial support and GBV response tailored to the needs of people affected by the war. The activities focus on restoring psycho-emotional well-being, enhancing safety, and improving access to quality support services.
The organization delivers structured psychosocial interventions aimed at improving mental health and well-being, provides case management services in GBV cases, and conducts information sessions on prevention of and response to violence.
Special attention is given to supervision and professional support for specialists working in communities in order to enhance service quality, ensure adherence to ethical standards, and prevent professional burnout.
