Stop TB. Ukraine Partnership

The Stop TB. Ukraine Partnership was established in March 2018 by an инициативна group with the support of the organization PATH, with the aim of consolidating the efforts of civil society, government institutions, and international partners to overcome the tuberculosis epidemic in Ukraine.

The Partnership’s mission is to promote the implementation of effective, people-centered approaches to ending tuberculosis, ensure access for every person to timely diagnosis and successful treatment, stop the transmission of tuberculosis and related diseases, and reduce the social and economic impact caused by tuberculosis in Ukraine. An important component of the mission is combating stigma and discrimination against people who have or have had tuberculosis.

The goal of the Partnership is to unite the efforts of its members to effectively end the tuberculosis epidemic in Ukraine by 2030, in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the WHO End TB Strategy. The Partnership also facilitates coordination among society, governmental and non-governmental organizations in achieving the targets of the Stop TB Partnership Global Plan to End TB (90–(90)–90).

As of today, the Stop TB. Ukraine Partnership brings together 77 members, covers 22 regions of Ukraine and the city of Kyiv, and is a member of the global Stop TB Partnership. Its activities involve non-governmental organizations, public institutions, healthcare facilities, doctors, and experts in the field of tuberculosis response.

Role of the Partnership

The Partnership serves as a platform for coordination and strengthened cooperation among international, national, and local stakeholders to ensure an effective, aligned, and sustainable response to tuberculosis in Ukraine.

Role of AUCO Convictus Ukraine

AUCO Convictus Ukraine serves as the Secretariat of the Stop TB. Ukraine Partnership, providing organizational, communication, and coordination support for interaction among Partnership members, as well as contributing to the development of joint initiatives and advocacy efforts.
